Is there a special meaning for this design? It’s very pretty. And bold. 🙂

🙂 i was going for something very small and delicate…then he drew that design and i was like, “oh my gosh, yes.” 🙂
the knot is the triquetra or trinity knot…it has tons of meanings, some “Christian” spiritual, and some less so…all of the celtic stuff (I’ve got a bunch of Irish heritage) points toward “motherhood” (the three stages of motherhood, specifically: maiden, mother, crone) or “fatherhood” and all sorts of other things…and 3’s (all of the points) have significance to me (three kids, lost my third pregnancy, etc.). the circle–the “eternity” ring points to Joey and me…the flourishes, I just love them, and one of the flourishes has 3 points on the outside, one on the inside, (three for my living children, one for the child i lost, in the right order and placement), and the whole flourish forms an unfinished heart. i LOVE the shading, the bold design, the location…all of it.
